Hi ladies! I hope you had a great long weekend! We had a little snow storm in Boston, so we hung inside, watched movies and tried a new bottle of wine from Winc!  It was a perfect winter weekend.

Winc is a premier wine membership club! Winc sets you up with a Palate Profile and you complete a survey that allows you to share your personal preferences, tastes you are drawn to and flavors you enjoy. Winc uses your Palate Profile to send you a personalized box of wine every month. You can rate/review each bottle and your Palate Profile will adapt to your preferences. I love wine, but I am definitely not a sommelier. Winc’s survey was quick and easy to complete and the questions were focused on flavors I prefer in drinks (like coffee) and food. Every bottle of wine in my first box was amazing and I can’t wait for my next box.

The wine I drink is completely dependent on the seasons. I love reds all winter and am happiest with a glass of pinot noir by the fire on a cold night. Give me rosé all summer long. I have a beach towel that says ‘yes way, rosé’ and that’s basically my mantra May through August. I’m a pinot grigio girl in the fall and spring.

My first box from Winc had two reds, a pinot noir and a red blend, a pinot grigio and a rosé. How cute are the labels?!

We shared the pinot noir, Folly of the Beast, this weekend for our date night during the storm and it was delicious! It was light, smooth, and flavorful, all of the best things about a pinot noir.

This was my first time trying Folly of the Beast. I loved the flavor of the wine and the detail of the label and the cork were an added bonus! A snow storm, date night, and pinot noir? Yes, please 🙂

My sister and I also tried the pinot grigio. Sharing a bottle of wine and catching up with my sisters is always something I look forward to!

Chilled pinot grigio, leopard wine glasses and a new candle. Three of my favorite things 🙂

Use my link for Winc, lastcoll winc, and get four bottles of wine for $39 and complimentary shipping! A Winc membership would be a great birthday gift or valentine’s day present for any wine lover in your life!

Happy New Year, ladies! I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday season. Mine was filled with family, friends, and a quick trip to Quebec City!

I felt like I was in a winter wonderland in Quebec City between the snow, skating rinks, beautiful Christmas decorations and cozy pubs. Canada called for comfy winter outfits, but I wanted to elevate each look and I’m sharing them with you today!

I would wear these outfits to a ski lodge or any winter vacation destination. They’re perfect for sitting by the fire, hanging in the lodge or for après ski. Which look is your favorite?

This is my go-to winter outfit. A long black sweater (on sale for $25!), my absolutely favorite black leggings, a bright scarf, warm boots, and red lipstick for an extra pop of color.

These boots are really warm and come with two sets of laces, a red pair and a neutral color. I have a red winter coat, so the colored laces compliment the jacket. I think it’s a fun way to add color during the winter!

The Spanx faux leather black leggings absolutely live up to the hype and are worth every penny. They are buttery soft, stretchy, high waisted, breathable and come in regular and petite sizes. They run true to size and the regular length hit right at my ankles (I’m 5’8″). I have been wearing these on repeat for the last month!

You might have noticed red is my favorite color, so I couldn’t pass up this sweater (only $19.99!). It is soft, warm, has a mock neck and wider sleeves for a more dramatic look. It is long enough to front tuck if you’re wearing it with jeans, but I layer a tank underneath when pairing it with leggings.

This fluffy sweater has been my best purchase of the season. It is a super warm rib knit with an over sized turtleneck. I’ve worn it with boyfriend jeans and pumps, but I also love to wear it with leggings and boots.

The detail on this sweater is gorgeous and the double layer turtleneck is unique. Want a more edgy look? Pair it with faux leather leggings or leather pants, pumps and a pale pink lip.

This sweater is cozy, the ribbed detail along the bottom elevates the look, the colors are feminine and so pretty, and it has slits on the side to allow for movement. It has quickly become one of the sweaters I pull out of my closet to wear again and again.

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing my Amazon Gift Guide with you! It’s a mix of fun and practical gifts and almost everything is available on Amazon Prime. If you still have some Christmas shopping to do, look no further 🙂

1. I am a huge fan of Chip and Joanna Gaines and I think I’ve seen every episode of Fixer Upper at least once. I dream of visiting Magnolia Market at the Silos, but in the mean time, I’m picking up a copy of Joanna’s cookbook, Magnolia Table.

2. My down blanket is my most used travel accessory. It is super warm, compact, and light weight. I have brought mine on several trips over the last three years and my family and friends have borrowed it too! This blanket has literally been around the world and back and still looks brand new. It is easy to wash, fits in a purse or backpack and comes in four colors.

3.  These men’s moccasins look like Uggs, but they’re only $22! There is nothing better than coming home and sliding on comfy, cozy slippers all winter long.

4. This speaker is waterproof, portable and has bluetooth. I purchased it back in the spring and used it all summer at the beach, by the pool and while boating. The sound is clear and it easily connects to your phone, so you can listen to all of your favorite playlists. The best part about this speaker is that you can buy a second one and sync them up. This allows you to put the speakers in different rooms or to amplify sound when you are outside.

5. This is for all of the red wine lovers out there. I have used red wine wipes for years and they work like magic. After you finish your favorite glass of red wine, use one of these wipes and your teeth will be perfectly white. I can’t think of a better stocking stuffer!

6. Glass containers. This is practical gift comes in several different sizes, are stack-able, and I’ve found to prefer the glass to plastic. If you have someone who loves to cook in your life or someone who is into meal prepping, this is the gift to get them.

7. Packing cubes are a game changer when traveling. These cubes have helped to keep me organized and I fit so much more in my suitcase when I use them, so it’s a win, win. I gave these to my sister, brother-in-law and nephew a few years ago. They each received a different color so they can easily keep track of everyone’s things when traveling. These packing cubes are only $17 and come in seven colors, so they would make a great family gift as well!

8. Chrissy’s Teigan’s cookbook, Cravings, is a staple in my kitchen.  I loved it so much I purchased her second book, Cravings: Hungry for More. If you come over, you’re most likely going to be eating one of her recipes. Bon appetit!

9. Little hedgehog dryer balls make the perfect stocking stuffer! I received these as a gift a few years ago and I use them all the time. Remember the travel blanket  I love? I put the blanket in the the dryer with these hedgehogs and it comes out fresh, clean, fluffy, cozy and ready for my next trip.

10. I have heard great things about the Echo Dot. The size, sound quality and the alarm clock feature make it a good alternative to the larger smart speakers.

11. $20 perfume?! I do enjoy some of the more expensive brands, but the perfume I wear on a daily basis is Jessica Simpson’s Fancy. The scent is light and feminine and I’m able to buy this over and over again because it’s affordable.

12. Headbands are a fun, trendy accessory and this six pack is only $21!

MERRY MERRY: Holiday Jammies

Wearing holiday pajamas is one of my favorite Christmas traditions! Old Navy has the best selection of holiday jammies and they have matching options for the whole family. Their colors, patterns and styles can be mix and matched and come in infant to adult sizes (including maternity!)

This year I bought the thermal knit style pajamas in buffalo plaid. I love wearing red this time of year and these will be perfect during the holidays and through the winter. These pajamas are soft, cozy, cute, and work for all the tall girls out there too! (I’m 5’8 and the bottoms reach my ankles).

The top is on sale today for $10 and the bottoms are on sale for $20! Use the code HURRY to get an additional 30% off.

Below are a few more of my favorite Old Navy holiday jammies.

Which pattern and style are your favorite?!

Happy holidays!

Hi everyone, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Today I am sharing gift ideas for the ladies and gentlemen in your life! There are so many Cyber Monday sales happening today, so it’s the perfect time to grab some gifts from the guides below!

1. Everyone is raving about Apple AirPods. The AirPods charge when they are inside their case, so you never have to worry about your headphones dying during a run, in the middle of a commute or during a long work day. These are definitely my number one gift recommendation this year!

3. A  black leather toiletry bag is a classic gift for a guy who loves to travel.

4. This Hydroflask will keep your ice water cold during a workout and your coffee hot during your commute. It would make a great stocking stuffer.

5. Whiskey glasses are fun to give someone who enjoys a cocktail. Pair this with whiskey ice cube molds and you have the perfect gift!

6. Bean Boots never go out of style. L.L. Bean’s products are very well made and will last for years.

7. I don’t think you can go wrong when gifting a traditional leather wallet, but I’m loving the card case trend too. It is thinner, fits well in pockets without looking bulky, but still has the classic leather look.

8. The Keurig Mini Single Serve K Cup Coffee Maker is great for an apartment or for those of you who don’t want a big, bulky coffee maker sitting on the kitchen counter. This comes in three colors and can easily be tucked away in a kitchen cabinet. It’s a great way to start the day 🙂

9. Patagonia makes some of my favorite winter coats. They have many options at different price points, they offer a variety of color choices and classic styles, so this investment will last you years.

1. Apple AirPoids, my number one gift recommendation for the holiday season, is also a great gift for the ladies in your life!

2. A bright scarf is my favorite way to add a pop of color to any winter outfit. Blacks, greys, and neutrals are always a good idea, but reds, pinks, and greens are my colors of choice in the winter months.

3. Ugg slippers are the warmest, coziest slippers. They are easy to slip on when you get home and they’ll keep your feet nice and toasty! They’re gripped at the bottom as well, so you can wear them outdoors if you need to.

4. Hunter rain boots are a fun, thoughtful, and practical gift. They have different heights, colors, shines and styles to choose from. I owned my first pair of Hunter boots for 10 years and I wear them in both the rain and snow. The inserts are a great extra for those who want to use these as winter boots!

5. Anthropologie candles are one of the best gifts to give or receive. They are beautiful with many scents to choose from. These candles are a great Christmas present, housewarming gift, or stocking stuffer.

6. NARS Audacious lipstick is creamy, smooth, hydrating, and comes in over 40 colors! I own five shades and they are my  go-to lipsticks. Adding a little bit of color elevates an outfit and completes a look! Grab one of these lipsticks for a girlfriend, Secret Santa, your sister or your mom, it will be a hit!

7.  My Barefoot Dreams throw is my current obsession. I have been using it every day for the last six months and I can’t stop raving about how warm and cozy it is. This is a thoughtful gift for anyone in your life who loves to lounge and appreciates a good blanket!

8. Drunk Elephant’s Rise and Glow and Night Bright duo’s make great stocking stuffers! These “littles” as they’re affectionately called, are hydrating and will nourish your skin.  I love using these products and will definitely be gifting them this holiday season.

9. Kate Spade small stud earrings are gorgeous and feminine. They make a statement and come in a variety of colors. Any lady would love to receive a pair of these as a gift.

I’ll be sharing Cyber Monday deals on my instagram lastcollblog today, so make sure to follow along! Almost everything in the gift guides are on sale, so it’s the perfect time to start your Christmas shopping! What are you hoping to get this holiday season??

See you back here next week!

Hi Everyone! Happy Thanksgiving week!

The holidays can be crazy busy and chaotic, but planning what to wear should be fun and easy! I wanted to share a few Thanksgiving looks with you! There is a mix of comfy, casual, and dressier outfits!

I’ve been loving the long cardigan trend and this rustic orange color screamed fall to me. It looks perfect with a fitted tank and jeans. A pair or fun earrings and a neutral color lip finish off the outfit! I am 5’8 and this cardigan is a great length.

A cute sweater, jeans and booties is my Thanksgiving uniform. This sweater is from last season, but I found a similar one here! And of course, I’m wearing my favorite booties.

This. Cardigan. The soft fabric, the neutral color, the price ($40!). I’ve been wearing this outfit on repeat and if you’re going for comfy, casual this Thanksgiving, you need this sweater. I love purchasing things from Nordstrom because they have the best customer service, free returns, and an outfit for every occasion.

Call me crazy, but I consider leopard print a neutral. It is my absolute favorite pattern and I’ve found a way to make leopard a staple in my wardrobe since I was a little girl. This leopard dress is a Target find and it’s on sale for $17.50! I paired it with black jeans and my go-to booties. This dress is long enough to wear on it’s own, but it has been cold in Boston, so layering it over a pair of skinny jeans is helping me transition this dress from fall to winter. Throw on your favorite red lipstick and a pair of gold earrings and you are holiday ready!

I have been living in this hunter green sweater dress all fall! It is an Amazon find, so the price is right and my favorite thing about this outfit is that it can easily be dressed up or down. My dress is sold out, but I found a similar one here! I threw on my booties to elevate the look, but keep scrolling to see how I dressed it down 🙂

A cute jean jacket and leopard mules completely change the look of this dress. I love wearing a berry colored lipstick  to add a pop of color as a fun finishing touch! If you’re heading out for a fancy Thanksgiving dinner or doing something more casual, this sweater dress is perfect for either occasion.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving! I’ll be sharing sales this week on Instagram, so head over to @lastcollblog to follow along!

Hi everyone! I hope you had a great weekend! I spent mine with family and friends and decorating for Christmas! I’ll share more of my holiday decor in the next few weeks!

Today’s post is short and sweet. I wanted to share my favorite sherpa with you!

This sherpa is so warm and cozy and is currently 50% off at Abercrombie! It comes in eight different colors and runs true to size (I’m wearing a small.) I purchased the cream, so it matches everything and I can wear colored beanies or lipsticks to style it up a bit! I love throwing this on with leggings to run errands, but it’s perfect to wear hanging around the house too!

See you back here next week!

Hi everyone! Sephora is having a huge sale (up to 20% off everything!) and it ends tonight! I wanted to share a few of my favorite go-to Sephora purchases with you! These are the products I use on a regular basis and I stock up on during their sales. If you need new skin products, eyeshadows, foundations, or lip sticks, I’ve got you covered!

This foundation is my absolute favorite! I have used it for years and have my friends and family hooked too! It is light, hydrating, build-able and comes in thirty shades (I’m a 4!), so it truly is for everyone. If you have sensitive skin, this will be your new favorite foundation. I apply with a beauty blender and it leaves my skin looking bright and radiant.

One of my best friend’s gave me these Drunk Elephant serums for my birthday and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to use anything else! I had read such great things about this brand and was so excited to try the rise and glow brightening duo. You mix the two serums together and apply to your face, neck and back of your hands every morning. The serums are light and leave my skin feeling so hydrated. The rise and glow brightening duo are travel size, so once I knew I was in love, I purchased the larger sized vitamin c day serum and hydration serum. These would be perfect Christmas gifts and the rise and glow brightening duo would make the best stocking stuffers.

I told you I fell in love with the rise and glow brightening duo, so I had to try the night bright resurfacing duo too! The facial oil and night serum combination can’t be beat. I’m officially obsessed.

Dr. Dennis Gross daily peel exfoliant pads have completely changed my skin. I use the gentle formula for sensitive skin, but they have higher strengths as well! These are expensive, but are definitely worth the investment and are a great product to grab during the sale. The daily peel exfoliant pads can be used daily or a few times a week. I promise you will notice the biggest changes in your skin.

Origins hydration overnight face mask and 10 minute face mask are awesome! They give you the intense hydration boost needed in the winter months.

I use Josie Maran’s self tanner on repeat all year long. It is smooth and leaves you with the perfect glow. It comes with a mitt to apply the self tanner, which avoids streakiness and it’s build-able. I try to stay out of the sun in the summer, so I layer to give myself a deeper tan and in winter months I use less to achieve a subtle glow. There are two different fragrance options and they don’t smell like the stereotypical self tanner. If you want to be sun kissed for the holidays, look no further!

NARS lipstick is my go-to! Whether you love bright and bold colors or neutrals, NARS has you covered. The audacious lipstick is hydrating, smooth and gives you the pop of color needed to complete any outfit. These are great stocking stuffers and would be perfect for any lipstick loving lady in your life!

Sephora lip stain is another new addiction. The price point, the colors, the creaminess. I could go on and on. This lip stain is long lasting and hydrating. I’ve found a lot of lip stains to be drying, but this isn’t at all! I’ve been rotating these colors daily and love that they have matte or shimmery options. This is a Christmas gift your mom, sister and friends would all love!

NARS turkish delight lip gloss can be found in my purse at all times. The light pink/nude hue is so feminine. It can be used on it’s own or paired with a pink or nude lipstick as well! If you can’t tell, dressing up my outfit with a pop of color on my lips is my favorite thing to do!

This NARS concealer is brightening, light and applies evenly and smoothly under the eyes. It isn’t cakey at all and it provides significant coverage for those dark circles that are so hard to hide.

I recently started using Laura Mercier’s caviar eyeshadow stick and I’m hooked. I purchased the Au Natural eyeshadow stick and use it as a base on my eyelids. If I am going for a natural makeup look, I will use this shadow on its own. It comes in several colors and the application is so quick and easy!

I love Urban Decay’s Naked eyeshadow palette. They have several different palette options that compliment all skin tones. I am drawn to browns and neutral colors most, so the Naked 2 Basics eyeshadow palette is perfect for me! I use Sephora’s eyeshadow brush to apply.

Okay, this mascara is controversial and not because of its name. Some of my friends and family love it, some really don’t like it. I absolutely love this mascara because it’s so voluminous and dramatic. I only use it on my top lashes, but I use it daily because I prefer fuller lashes. I don’t use fake lashes or get lash extensions, but I feel like this mascara gives me a similar look without the maintenance.

A quick tip about Sephora: you can buy any product, bring it home and try it. If you don’t like it, you can return it and will be refunded in full! Before I knew about this policy, I was hesitant to try new things because it was expensive to purchase something, use it once and never use it again. After I learned about this policy, I became more adventurous. I would try new brands, new products, experiment with colors and it has allowed me to fall in love with so many products.

The sale ends tonight, so get shopping if you want to save up to 20%! Treat yourself or start your Christmas shopping! Let me know what you love and what your favorite products are! See you next week!

LA 2019

Hi everyone! I hope you had a great weekend! This weekend I went to LA to celebrate one of my best friend’s 30th birthdays! It was a quick trip, but we had so much fun and I can’t wait to go back! We spent Saturday afternoon at the Bungalow (the Fairmont) right next to the Santa Monica Pier, and I wanted to share my outfit with you!

It was in the 80’s in LA this weekend, but I still wanted to wear something cute for fall. I thought a dress would be perfect for the occasion.

This babydoll dress is so comfortable! It is jean material, flowy, has pockets, and was long enough for me as well! Win, win, win, and win!  I’m 5’8, so it can be hard to find casual dresses that aren’t too short, but this was a great length. It comes in three colors and I loved the light pink.

One of my favorite things about this outfit is that it can be dressed up or down and can easily transition from day to night.

I wore my favorite black booties and brought a black leather jacket to throw over my shoulders for dinner.

We were having so much fun! Friends, cocktails and 80 degree weather make for a good Saturday. These oversized sunglasses are my go-to!

The Bungalow was absolutely beautiful! They had a patio outside along the water and the prettiest bar right inside. I couldn’t get over the colors, patterns, textures and all of the fall decorations.

The coziest spot was right next to the bar – I’ll take a fire any day, even if it feels like summer outside.

The best weekend with the best friends! LA, we will be back 🙂
